Read the recipe first
The demo recipe panel lists these Dressing fields. If your build or crafting mod shows different values, use the values in that interface.
| Recipe field | Displayed value |
|---|---|
| First input | Ripped dressing, at least 90% condition |
| Second input | Ripped dressing, at least 90% condition |
| Amount | 1 |
| Condition | 100% |
| INT Needed | 5 |
Both input slots must be satisfied. One suitable piece is not enough. Ripped dressing is the input; Dressing is the finished item.
Create and collect the Dressing
- Open crafting and select Dressing.
- Check both ingredient slots and their condition requirements.
- Move to the result icon and choose Create when the recipe allows it.
- Check your hand for the finished item before searching elsewhere in the inventory.
The demo crafting sequence shows Dressing 100% appearing in the previously empty hand. The ingredient indicators can then return to red crosses. Check the hand before interpreting those crosses as a failed craft.
What does INT Needed 5 mean?
INT Needed 5 is the displayed recipe value, not a demonstrated absolute lock on attempts below 5. Read it separately from your character’s current INT.
The number beside the recipe in the left-hand list is not an inventory count. Check the actual items, input indicators and hand instead.
From crafting to treatment
Crafting produces a supply; treatment requires a separate wrapping interaction. Follow the Dressing and bleeding guide, then check that limb’s local bleeding. A finished item does not mean the injury has been treated.
