Select the injured limb
Open the health panel and select the body part to treat. Keep the same limb selected for the before-and-after check. Read its local bleeding rate in litres per minute and its bleeding marker.
Need supplies? Follow the Dressing recipe. The finished Dressing is different from its Ripped dressing inputs.
Apply and wrap the Dressing
- Keep the injured limb selected.
- Apply the Dressing to begin wrapping.
- Drag around the limb clockwise. Complete the interaction rather than stopping after placing the item.
- Check that limb’s bleeding value and marker again.
The Dressing’s condition can decrease during use. That percentage describes the item, not the limb’s health.
Check local bleeding, not just the total
The whole-body bleeding display can disappear while the selected limb still shows a small rate, such as 0.04 L/m. Stay on the same limb and check for no visible local bleeding marker or rate before calling this step finished.
Do not close the panel solely because the whole-body number has disappeared.
Bleeding stopped is not fully healed
Skin and muscle can remain below full health after local bleeding stops. Inspect the limb for other conditions. No bleed marker does not mean every injury, foreign object or infection is resolved.
Make this a habit: select the limb, apply the treatment, inspect the same limb again.
